Expand your child’s love for literacy in a casual, small group setting.

Literacy is the skill of communication through both language and the written word. Children begin their communication journey by gesturing and mimicking, cooing and clapping.
As children develop, they begin to communicate by utilizing vocabulary that is built over time. Words become phrases, sentences and then eventually paragraphs. These stacks of ideas eventually become a story or even a poem.
This evolution of language is fun: As children grow more curious, they will develop more expressive opinions and storylines, illustrated through their words and pictures.
At Peach Pear Plum there is a long history of experiential knowledge and an understanding of language acquisition and literacy. If your child enjoys books, likes to tell stories, and is beginning to grasp letter and sound recognition, the Literacy Lounge is the perfect match as an afterschool adventure. Peach Pear Plum’s writing program is best suited for younger writers, pre-k through third grade. Because of the small group size, time slots will co-mingle these ages.
Let’s begin by getting to know one other. Please fill out the form below, telling me a bit about your learner and why you think this program would be appealing.
